MotoTrak's supination task got its start in Dr. Jason Carmel's lab at the Burke Medical Research Institute, and they published this open-access JOVE methods video showing their protocol for doing the task with rats.

In 2016, Vulintus presented a webinar through Inside Scientific along with longtime collaborator Dr. Seth Hays from UT-Dallas, giving an overview of MotoTrak and how Dr. Hays has used MotoTrak to investigate therapies for motor dysfunction.
