If you’ve heard of Vulintus, you’ve most likely heard about our MotoTrak or OmniTrak system, but do you know what is actually our most popular product? Pellet dispensers! To train an animal with one of our behavioral systems, you’re going to need to give them a reward, and while we also offer liquid dispensers, most labs opt for food pellet dispensers.
We’ve been manufacturing and selling pellet dispensers relatively unchanged for over 10 years now, and they’re working reliably every day in labs all over the world. But we’ve also learned a lot in that time about how to make products smarter, less-expensive, and even more reliable. So we’re keeping what’s been working great, the basic dimensions, the powerful gear-motor, and the pellet drop sensor, and we’re adding some new features:

Quieter, quicker pellet drops made possible by new motor drivers.
Daisy-chain connections for adding multiple dispensers to a single controller.
An optional USB connection for triggering feedings from your custom software, no separate controller required.
Updated pellet dispensers for 2025!
Our new design prototypes will be whirring away on our workbench over the holiday season to make sure they perform just as reliably as the previous version. We’re also testing out a dehumidifier option to keep food pellets dry and dropping smoothly in high-humidity locations. We expect to start shipping these in January 2025. Let us know if you want one!
